COL (ret) Dr. Kenneth Lee

Co-Founder

Dr. Kenneth Lee is the Chief of Spinal Cord Injury Division at Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee WI, and Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Dr. Lee joined the Army in 1986 and retired after 27 years of service with the rank of Colonel in the Wisconsin Army National Guard with the last duty assignment as the State Surgeon.

As an Iraqi war veteran, Dr. Lee’s personal history provides a strong connection to the Veterans he serves. In November of 2003, while stationed in Iraq as commander of a Wisconsin Army National Guard medical battalion, Dr. Lee was severely injured in a Baghdad car bombing.  Dr. Lee was MEDEVACed to Lahnstuhl, Germany for his initial care and then transferred to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He sustained multiple shrapnel wounds and an open head traumatic brain injury during this incident. For his military service, Dr. Lee was awarded the Legion of Merit, the Purple Heart, the Meritorious Service Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, an Army Achievement Medal, and numerous other awards.  

In addition to his military and medical services to include medical acupuncture, Dr. Lee participates in multiple community activities through adaptive sports programs. He serves as the Medical Director for the National Veterans Wheelchair Games and the Chief Medical Officer for the National Veterans Sports Program and Special Events as well as for the International Wheelchair Rugby Federation.   He works with Greater Milwaukee Area as one of the founders of the Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association serving the disabled population ages 6 through 82, including paralyzed veterans. 

Dr. Kenneth Lee is the recipient of many research program grants for adaptive sports and has numerous publications dedicated to adaptive sports medicine to include a book chapter “Adaptive Sports in the Rehabilitation of the Disabled Veterans” in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics of North America.

For his community, military service, and leadership, Dr. Lee was awarded the Milwaukee County Veteran of the Year Award; Silver Helmet Award by AMVETS; Speedy Award by Paralyzed Veterans of America; Outstanding Disabled Veteran of the Year by the Disabled America Veterans; Special Senatorial Recognition presented by the United States Senator Ron Johnson; the Congressional Record Entrée and Honoree by the United States House of Representative James Sensenbrenner; the  Health Care Heroes in Community, BizTimes Milwaukee; and the Champion of Veterans’ Health, Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation, Madison, WI.

Dr. Kenneth Lee brings with him over 35 years of leadership and management of personnel, projects, and finances. Pravin Raikar is the CEO of Lockstep Solutions based in Wisconsin.  He has led this company for 10 years developing collaborative leadership teams focusing on improving key performance indicators, leading integration projects and cost reduction initiatives, and transforming enterprise environments.

Pravin Raikar is a bachelor’s in engineering, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and completed the Technology Leadership Program at Harvard University. In addition, he is a Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, ITIL, and a certified Agilist. 

He has extensive experience in Medical Device Engineering, E-commerce, Automotive Software, Cloud-based solutions, Warehouse Management, Government, Banking, Big Data specialized in the following: Technology Strategy, Leadership Assessment & Coaching, Lean & Six Sigma, Program Management, Organizational Development, and Restructuring &Turnarounds.

Well-seasoned as a team builder Bret is always focused on acquiring and developing high-performing leaders and fostering cultures of excellence.  He has been highly successful at developing infrastructure plans and delivering converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, as well as utilizing cloud infrastructure solutions to bolster Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans, consistently delivering solutions optimizing data analytics.

He has led continuous improvement projects that resulted in sustained improvements in quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and transactional processes. Rakesh, using his motivation leadership skills, has trained industry leaders to challenge conventional thinking across functional and organizational boundaries.

Rakesh Mathur is extremely versatile as a change agent and has excellent leadership skills in business, managing cross-functional global teams to achieve financial targets and measurable results.
